Residential service is provided primarily through municipal contracts. For non-contracted residential customers, an initial six-month service commitment is required. After that period, customers may start or stop service as needed.

Residential Recycling Pickup

- Please do not bag recyclable materials or use containers

Bulk & Large Item Pickup
Large item pickup is included in municipal contracts, with timing determined by each municipality’s agreement.
If you need an item picked up sooner, Reliable Sanitation Service offers on-demand large item pickup for a small additional fee.
Examples of large items may include furniture such as couches or similar household items.
Items We Do Not Collect
For safety and regulatory reasons, the following items are not accepted through residential trash or recycling services:
- Tires
- Batteries (including lithium batteries)
- Liquid paint
- Pesticides and chemicals
- Medical waste
- Asbestos
